Visit either of the two Solano Employment Connection One-Stop Career Centers and we will introduce you to all our services. Click below to get directions to both centers.

1. Looking for job leads?
- Obtain job announcements, State, County, local applications and/or forms.
- Learn about current and future events and workshops.
- Research labor market information to determine which occupations are in demand.
- Use telephone and software applications for job search.
- Assistance with employment applications.
- Receive information on valuable internet website addresses.
- Learn how to use the computers to look for jobs on the internet.
- Pick-up flyers and brochures describing community agencies, Partner services, government offices, etc.
- Obtain information and referrals to vocational training programs.
- Access computers equipped with the assist-technology for users with disabilities in both offices.
2. Want to meet employers who are hiring?
- Learn about current and future employer recruitments.
- Learn about local job fairs.
3. Need unemployment insurance services?
- Unemployment Insurance is not directly available on-site. Telephones and computers are available at the One-Stop to contact Unemployment Insurance. Contact the Employment Development Department at www.edd.ca.gov/eapply-4ui for more information.
4. How do your skills match the available jobs?
- Use software to assess your interests and skills to make training and career decisions.
- Obtain information about vocational training.
- Improve your skills by completing software tutorials for Word, Excel, typing speed.
5. Need to create a resume and other application documents?
- Use word processing software to create presentable resumes and cover letters.
- Receive computer disks to save job search documents.
- Copy and/or fax resumes, applications, licenses or certifications, etc.
6. Looking for job search workshops and other events?
- SEC One-Stop career center orientations.
- Employment-focused workshops.
- Meet with partner agencies providing services.
- Basic and intermediate computer training.
- Certified occupational health and safety training.
- Employer recruitment.
7. Ready to apply for jobs?
- On-site recruitments and interviews.
- Fax resumes, applications, etc. to employers.
- Use our computers to apply online.
- Learn to set up a free email account on the Internet.

Bring the following on your visit to the SEC:
Because our services are federally funded, we are required to ensure you have the documents that establish your "right to work" in the USA. Please look at the list below to understand what documents you will need to provide in the One-Stop and to an employer when you are offered employment.
1. Please bring your printed and completed application. To get a job in California you will need to have what employers commonly call “right to work” documents. When you come into the One-Stop, you will be asked to provide evidence of who you are, your age and your right to work in the United States.
2. Please provide documents to establish your identity and age such as:
- State Driver’s License or Identification
- An unexpired Passport
- Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card
- Military Identification or Military Dependent’s ID Card
3. Also provide a document to establish your right to work in the USA, such as:
- Social Security Card
- Permanent Resident Card
- Alien Registration Receipt Card
- Birth Certificate
