Visit either of the two Solano Employment Connection One-Stop Career Centers and we will introduce you to all of our on-site and online services.


1. Looking for job leads?

  • Obtain job announcements, State, County, local applications and/or forms
  • Learn about current and future training events and workshops
  • Research labor market information to determine which occupations are in demand
  • Use telephone and software applications for job search
  • Assistance with employment applications
  • Receive information on valuable internet website addresses
  • Learn how to use the computers to look for jobs on the internet
  • Pick-up flyers and brochures describing community agencies, Partner services, government offices, etc.
  • Obtain information and referrals to vocational training programs
  • Access computers in both offices equipped with the assist-technology for users with disabilities Obtain job announcements, State, County, local applications and/or forms. Learn about current and future events and workshops.

3. Need Unemployment Insurance, State Disability or Paid Family Leave services?

 

  • Unemployment Insuranceis not directly available on-site. Telephones and computers are available at the One-Stop. To apply for Unemployment Insurance go to the Employment Development Department website, www.edd.ca.gov/eapply-4ui or call the Employment Development Department at (English) 1-800-300-5616 or (Spanish) 1-800-326-8937 for more information. These phones are available Monday through Friday 8am to noon, only.
  • We have paper/ hard copy Unemployment Insurance applications for those who prefer to mail their application. We also have hard copy applications for ex-service men/women, and federal employees.
  • Disability Insurance statewide toll-free numbers, English 1-800-480-3287 Spanish (La llamada en español es gratuita a nivel nacional) 1-866-658-8846
  • Paid Family Leave statewide toll free numbers  English (Nationwide Toll Free) 1-877-238-4373 and/or Spanish (La llamada en español es gratuita a nivel nacional) 1-877-379-3819
  • TTY 1-800-563-2441 (This number does not accept voice calls) When calling via the California Relay Service (711), please provide the State Disability Insurance number (1-877-238-4373) to the operator.

Bring the following on your visit to the SEC One-Stops:

Because our services are federally funded, we are required to ensure you have the documents that establish your "right to work". Please look at the list below to understand what documents you will need to provide in the One-Stop and to an employer when you are offered employment.

1. When you come into the One-Stop, please bring your printed and completed SEC membership application and provide evidence of who you are, your age and your right to work.

2. Please provide documents to establish your identity and age such as:

  • State Driver’s License or Identification
  • An unexpired Passport
  • Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card
  • Military Identification or Military Dependent’s ID Card

3. Also provide a document to establish your right to work in the USA, such as:

  • Social Security Card
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Alien Registration Receipt Card
  • Birth Certificate
